02 — The Photographer

“Pictures capture moments.  Experiences create memories.”

My photography began with a borrowed camera on a trip to see brown and black bears in Canada — with no idea, at the time, how to use it.

Now an award-winning wildlife photographer based in Costa Rica. I’m interested in more than just the photograph — the wildlife, the places, the stories and the experiences that happen along the way.

03 — Experiences

Where the practice is going next

Small-group photography experiences, built around the same patience and observation as the work on this page — not conventional tours, an extension of the practice itself.
